Times Table Competition

Each year we hold a times table competition where representatives from each class compete to be the fastest in their year group to recall multiplication and division facts.

The expectation is that every child needs to know all of their times table facts and division facts (up to 12x12) by the time they leave Year 4. 

The times table focuses for each year group are:

Year 1 - Lots of 2,5 and 10/number sequences

Year 2 - Times table/division facts 2,5 and 10

Year 3 - Times table/division facts 2,3,4,5,8 and 10

Year 4 - Times table/division facts up to 12x12

Year 5 - Times table/division facts up to 12x12

Year 6 - Times table/division facts up to 12x12
