At Whingate Primary, we encourage children to have fun and healthy lunchtimes. Therefore, all children have the option to choose from either having a school meal or a packed lunch provided from home, each day.

We DO NOT permit mixed meal patterns. If your child does not bring their packed lunch in to school with them, you will be contacted to request this is brought in for them as soon as possible.

All School Meals must now be ordered at home, in advance via SchoolGrid. The link to this can be found on our Home Page.

The current cost of a school meal is £2.75 which works out at £13.75 per week. 

If your child would like to have a school meal, please complete a Lunch Arrangements Form.

You will then receive confirmation of the date that your child can start to have a school meal. 

To assist the Kitchen with efficient ordering of meals, we require no less than one week's notice if your child wishes to change to having a school meal.
