Two breakfast clubs run each morning to provide a fun start to the day, improve attendance and punctuality, support parents' need for childcare and to ensure that we are fulfilling our aim to remove hunger as a barrier to learning,
Clubs start at 8-10am:
- Reception, Year 1, Year2, Year 3 and Year 4 children have breakfastin the school house.
- Year 5 and Year 6 meet in the school hall
Up to one hundred children are provided with a healthy breakfast; early morning games, a chance to talk and a place to catch up on any unfinished homework. Children attending morning work classes also often take a breakfast before these classes start.
The cost of the clubs is 50 pence per day though children eligible for free school meals are not charged and paid for through Pupil Premium funding. Reductions are available for second and third children. There is also no charge for children in Year 5 and 6.
Both clubs are very popular and have waiting lists. Interested families should contact:
