    Welcome to Year 4

    In Year 4 the children learn with Mr Rhodes and Miss Browne, with Miss Parkes and Mrs Bailey as our teaching assistants. Each class will be taught by Mrs Gatenby or Mrs Lilley for some sessions at the end of each week too.

    We are looking forward to the Summer Term, which will include our residential trip to Robinwood, and the skipping festival. If you ever need to speak to Mr Rhodes or Miss Browne then we will be at the door each day after school , or you can send us a message through Class Dojo.

    Swimming starts in the second week back this half-term. The first session is on Wednesday 29th April.

    Year 4 Long-Term Plan 2025-26

    Homework

    Spelling homework is now set on a Friday and will come home in the children's spelling journal. Maths homework is set at the start of a term and will be a bingo card with nine activities to complete before the end of half-term.

    Spelling homework is due back to school by the following Wednesday.

    Year 4 Robinwood Residential

    We will be taking the children to  Dobroyd Castle Robinwood Activity Centre in April. Any useful documents about this visit will be uploaded here when we receive them.
