Welcome to Year 3

Hello and thank you for looking on our Year 3 page! We are excited for the year ahead and have a variety of activities planned to support the children's learning. The staff working in Year 3 are:

Homework

Each week, children will be expected to complete a variety of homework tasks to support their in class learning. Tasks include:

Spelling - Words that have been taught that week are in your Spelling Journals and other words are set on Spelling Shed each Friday to be returned by the following Wednesday.

Maths - Once a half-term bingo sheet that can be returned to school at any point. Children will earn dojos for completing a line on their bingo card or more dojos for completing the whole card!

Children will also be expected to read each week and return their book bag on their designated day, signed by an adult. All books read (chapters in longer texts) will count towards the reading challenge.

If you have any problems accessing the homework online or your child finds any of the homework tasks too tricky, please come and speak to a member of the Year 3 team.
