SEN Teaching Assistant

 

The ideal candidate should:

· Have a calm and nurturing attitude

· Be able to make learning fun and interactive

· Be able to facilitate children’s learning in both 1:1 and small groups

· Have experience working with children with a range of additional needs

· Be able to share information and have professional communication with the class teacher

· When necessary, liaise with parents and outside agencies to support children

· Use initiative and knowledge to give the very best support to our children

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

The ideal candidate should:

· Have a passion for teaching and learning across the range of primary subjects

· The ability to communicate to a wide range of pupils with different needs and abilities

· Be able to make learning fun and interactive

· Be able to facilitate children’s learning in both 1:1 and small groups

· Have experience of applying a range of strategies to support pupils in the classroom with the minimum of supervision

· Be able to plan and implement effective actions for pupils at risk of underachieving

· Be able to share information and have professional communication with the class teacher

· When necessary, liaise with parents and outside agencies to support children

· Use initiative and knowledge to give the very best support to our children
